We first met on a night out in bar. I dont think she thought too much of me at first but i didn't give up. I could tell she was special. Unknowingly, I had seen Sam about a year earlier in another local pub. I only realised it was her when she said she used to go there with no hair due to her chemo. I knew straight away that I had seen her, someone that bald and that beautiful sticks in your brain :) We started seeing eachother on & off, I was going through a divorce and had 2 children so it wasn't that straight forward. She was a lovely person to be with and my children adored her, she constantly had them in fits of laughter. Her cancer returned about 3 months after we met, the strength and bravery she showed over the next 3 and a half years was extraordinary. I never believed it would come to this, her doctors were great and we were so positive. I feel very fortunate to have met Sam and for her to choose to spend her last years with me. I was with her at the end, and although it broke my heart, I am so glad i could be there for her. I love you Sammi and I miss you so much Steve
