This was Sam's xmas present for 2006. We were scheduled to go in January 2007, but she was put on another course of chemo for her lungs so we postponed it until it fitted in with her treatment. We eventualy got to Venice at the beginning of March, planning to stay for 3 days. Venice is amazing, and we both loved it. Unfortunately, Sam fell ill on the last day of our trip, and we ended up staying in a hospital in Treviso for 5 extra days until she was allowed to travel home. We never got to go on the Gondola but it was still the most amazing weekend we have had.
